Meet the Cast Honky Tonk Angels opens November 16 A Texas housewife, a West Virginia girl, and a Los Angeles career woman share the same honky-tonk dream, and when all three meet on the bus to Nashville, the Honky-Tonk Angels are born! A hilarious, foot-stomping good time with 30 classic country songs! Kimberly Strother (Angela) is thrilled to be making her Swift Creek Mill Theatre debut as Angela in Honky Tonk Angels. She recently starred as Ouiser Bordreaux in Goochland Community Theaters production of Steel Magnolias. Kimberly has studied acting at the HATTheater in Richmonds west end. When she’s not acting, Kimberly is the afternoon radio host for the local NPR affiliate station. Kimberly would like to thank her friends, her mom and dad, and her partner Angel for always supporting her in everything that she does. Chelsea Shaul (Darlene) is overjoyed to make her professional debut at Swift Creek Mill Theatre! She recently graduated with her B.A. in Theatre and Psychology at Randolph Macon College in May 2024. Her most recent project was portraying the role of Julia in Investigating the Supernatural: Miracles with CBN Studios. She dedicates her performance to her family and friends, who have all been angels in her life. Chelsea would like to thank her mother and father for their unwavering love and support. She’d also like to thank Jan Powell, a guiding light in her theatrical endeavors. Savanah Ragland (Sue Ellen) is excited to make her debut on the Swift Creek Mill Theater stage as Sue Ellen in Ted Swindley’s Honky Tonk Angels. Recently, she was seen as Tammy in the Home Front Players’ production of Escape to Margaritaville: The Jimmy Buffett Musical. A dedicated Chesterfield County Public Schools employee, Savanah passionately pursues her craft in her free time.
