The Phantom Players will hold Auditions for Sweeney Todd on Friday November 1st *4pm-9pm.
Director Jesse Taylor & Musical Director Savannah Hatcher seek around 15-20 performers age 18+ to fill a variety of roles including ensemble. All ethnicities are encouraged to audition. Age ranges listed on the character breakdown sheet are portrayal only. Performers are asked to prepare 15-30 bars or 1 min of music preferably in the style of the show a cappella or device and a prepared monologue though not required. Rehearsals will mostly occur on Thursday evenings & Sundays along w/a full tech week & run of shows March 21st-23rd, 2025 at BOX 5 Cabaret Theatre 212 E Broadway Hopewell VA.
*Arrive for Auditions anytime after 4pm but preferably arrive no later than 8pm. If you have a conflict with this date please reach out to the Director. Callbacks will occur the following Friday. Main rehearsals will gear up after the holidays though some may occur prior depending on cast availability. List any conflicts you may have starting in December on your Audition Form that you will receive the day of.
