JFT (Jewish Family Theatre) is seeking ADDITIONAL VIDEO SUBMISSIONS to round out our cast from college aged performers, ages 18 – 21, as well as adult professional actors (21 and up) for “The Prince of Egypt”, based on the 1992 DreamWorks animated film, featuring music by Stephen Schwartz. Directed by Ayla Hanna-Elizabeth Clinton, and featuring music direction by Jason Marks, and Choreography Assistance by Bryson Olivo.
Looking for vocally strong, diverse actors of all ages & types who are also comfortable with movement & dance (not all roles dance, but ensemble roles should be strong movers). Also seeking one YOUNG BOY, to play age 8 – 11.
Production begins rehearsals on/around May 1. Production runs June 18 – 29th at the Weinstein JCC.
Video Submissions will be accepted now through March 15, and can be sent to productionjft@gmail.com. Please sing 32 bars (approximately 1 minute) of a Broadway-style song that shows off your vocal range and personality. Please sing with an accompaniment track, or have a pianist accompany you – no singing a capella. Please name your video file with your Last Name, an underscore, your First Name, another underscore, and the title of your song. For example: MARKS_JASON_SOMEWHERE.
