The Center Season performance series features exceptional performances in theater, music, and dance! From fan favorites to exciting new performers, there’s something for everyone! Looking for something familiar? Try one of our “Classics” or “Encore” Performances. Feeling adventurous? Explore the sounds of the world with our new “Heritage” offerings. Or try something completely different from one of our “New Horizons” shows. Subscription packages on sale now! (Starting July 8, 2024, Center Season individual tickets may be purchased for any show in any number or combination of performances at the stated ticket price.)

The 2nd Stage concert season, the best value in live music, is back with tickets at $20 for all shows and two options:
CENTER FIELD OUTDOOR SHOWS: Bring your lawn chair or blanket and join us for these outstanding live performances on our outdoor stage! Seating is general admission. Pets and outside alcohol are prohibited. Children ages three and under can attend without a ticket.
CARDINAL BALLROOM SHOWS: Relax in an informal setting with performances by amazing local and regional talent! Plus, make the evening complete with wine/beer and snacks for sale at the show.
2nd Stage highlights include Country music by Slate River Band, Jazz trumpet hero Rex Richardson, local favorite Susan Greenbaum, the smooth and swinging sounds of Antique Melody Show, and more!
New art exhibits throughout The Center’s four onsite galleries will include The James River Art League, Central Virginia Botanical Artists, a mixed-media exhibition of works by members of the Chickahominy Falls Art Guild, and more.
Special events throughout the season are often free and include a Maker’s Yard Sale (July 13, 2024), an artisan Ice Cream Fest (July 21, 2025), and new Market Days with Richmond Makers Market at the Cultural Arts Center, where visitors can meet local artists and makers while shopping for unique handmade goods (Dates: September 14, 2024; December 15, 2024; March 22, 2024; and May 10, 2025).
The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen is dedicated to being the region’s center for creativity, balancing arts and cultural, education and entertainment for our community. The Center is a private, non-profit organization, managed and maintained by The Cultural Arts Center at Glen Allen Foundation and Board of Directors.
